Late next Thursday night is a screening the black metal documentaryUntil the Light Takes Us“.  It’s only playing Thursday the 28th and Saturday the 30 at 11:30 PM and the directors will be there.  The film features Gylve “Fenriz” Nagell, Varg “Count Grishnackh” Vikernes, Jan Axel “Hellhammer” Blomberg, Kjetil “Frost” Haraldstad, Olve “Abbath” Eikemo, Harald “Demonaz” Nævdal, Harmony Korine, Bjarne Melgaard, Kristoffer “Garm” Rygg, and Bård “Faust” Eithun.  Plus it has music by Darkthrone, Mayhem, Burzum, Ulver, Thorns, Gorgoroth, Enslaved, Boards of Canada, Black Dice, Sunn 0))), Múm and Lesser.  Don’t miss your chance to see it on the big screen!  Details about these screenings can be found here:

Dominick Fernow’s Hospital Productions has none done well over 200 releases of power noise and black metal.  Sadly, most of the releases are limited edition leaving only a handful of titles available at any time.  We stocked up on what is available and got:

We finally got more weird metal from these guys. Including more of Genghis Tron’s first two albums (Cloak of Love & Dead Mountain Mouth). Albums you need to check out are Epiphanic Vomiting of Blood by Italian black, horror, noise, project Gnaw Their Tongues, Six by Wildildlife (local psych, avant rock / metal), A New Species of Deviant by Corpus Mortale a Danish Brutal Death Metal band. Advent Parallax by Averse Sefira isa  really awesome ugly, gnarly, black metal hellstorm. Some very special items we got in stock are Scattered Ashes, which is an Emperor guitar tablature book with a CD containing the songs. The Other is a very limited digipak of Mayhem’s Life Eternal containing De Mysteriis songs with Varg’s basslines in the mix, 10 exclusive stickers, and a scrapbook foldout of Mayhem pictures and documents in ‘93 (put together by Attila).
